CCTV caught ‘figure’ walking through closed gate - Is It Real?

Ghost caught on CCTV walking through a closed gate of a village in the Philippines. Could this be a real ghost?

Recently, a video has surface online showing a strange figure caught on CCTV walking through a closed gate in a remote village, somewhere in the Philippines, but is it real? Let’s investigate.

Social media has been going crazy over last 24 hours when a video surface showing a what many are saying is ghost that was caught on CCTV cameras walking through a locked gate.  Shocking footage is unbelievable, that many have been trying being to debunk and explain that this wasn’t something paranormal.

The video appears to be a recording of a monitor that is playing back the recorded security footage.  Unfortunately, because of this a lot of detail is lost, making it harder to accurately analyze what exactly happened.  If you look closely at the footage itself, you will see the view of the CCTV security camera that is pointed down what appears to be a driveway.  We aren’t give any specifics however, other than the video was captured in the Philippines.  Therefore, we don’t know where exactly or who recorded it.

The entire video is only 20 seconds long, before it begins repeating.  At the start, from the left side of the screen, a shadowy figure comes into view and walks to the middle of the gate.  At that point, the figure continues walking forward and through the closed gate were it stops for a second and the video ends.

Ghost figure inside the gate

Ghost figure outside of the gate

Many are saying that due to low resolution of the video, we can’t see the gate being opened, or perhaps climbed over.  Therefore, it is was likely that it was either opened and or climbing over it.   Both of these scenarios however, aren’t the case.  Despite the resolution being low, we clearly the center point where the gate would normally open remains closed the entire time.  As from the fact that the figure actually passing through the bars of the gate itself.  Also, at no point was there any sort of movement to indicate that the person or entity attempted to or climbed over at all.

Unfortunately the main pieces to solve this puzzle are missing here.  The footage ends abruptly before we get a better view of the figure as it walks towards the camera. It is possible that the footage may have been altered, but without having access to the original high quality footage and to the entire video clip.  It is hard to make conclusion on this one.

What do you think? Could this be a real ghost - Let’s discuss further in the comments below.

10 Scary Videos From the Weird Side of Youtube!

For anyone who ventured to the deepest, darkest parts of YouTube - you would know that on the platform there are some very unusual and sometimes disturbing content to be found.  In this list we have dug deep and are going to show you some videos that were posted to YouTube that makes us say WTF.  Here are 10 Scary Videos From the Weird Side of YouTube!  So let’s get started.

10.

Scary abandoned building exploration and haunted investigative videos are some of the most interest to watch. The excitement and pure anticipation of what might be caught on camera makes for a tense and engaging viewing experience.  What is worst, is when something is actually captured on video for the viewers to see.  In this video, the explorer decided to search a haunted mental hospital that has been shutdown for more than 40 years.  When it was in operation, the place could have been described as a place of nightmare as opposed to care.  With many patients meeting their ends at the hands of their care givers.  In this video that was captured, the explorer comes into contact with a shadowy figure pacing back and forth.  At the time of recording, he didn’t notice that at that moment, he wasn’t alone.

9.
This is an older clip from the early days of YouTube.  It was a different time from what we are used to today.  A time when widescreen wasn’t available, and cat videos dominated the front page.  A few friends record their outing in the Sydney Harbor.  It was a beautiful day as they enjoyed the seemingly uneventful occasion.  That is, until this happened.  Do you believe in mermaids? Personally I am a skeptic, but this video clearly showed they were in the company of some aquatic creature, even if we cannot conclusively say what it was.

8.
This video surfaced more recently, and it quickly gained popularity.  Going viral on social media and on YouTube.  Despite all the red-flags that this is not what it says it is and its clearly mis-leading as to what actually happened.  The general public still holds the opinion that this own is something paranormal.  I must admit, however, that the idea of coming across mass emptied graves in cemetery would freak anyone out.  The video was uploaded, claiming to show empty graves in Thailand.  The consensus is split between this being the start of a zombie apocalypse or that everybody has gone to the rapture.

7.
In my personal favourite video on this list, this Youtuber records himself talking about some of his past experiences.  What was supposed to a routine video, ended up being the moment he accidentally catches paranormal activity.  As he is caught up talking to the camera, he doesn’t notice that the objects on the dresser behind him being shuffled around.  This is truly terrifying and makes you wonder when stuff in your house is moved around - is it a case of your inconsiderate roommate messing with your stuff or could you possibly have a poltergeist that you aren’t aware of.

6.
Thanks to CCTV cameras, when strange stuff happens, the footage can be invaluable in finding out what happened.  This is a fact that this store owner can a test to when what believes was a ghost, knocks a glass bowl off the counter.  The owner reports that in the past, customers would indicate uneasy feelings as if they were also being followed as they walk around the store.  Many times, items would go missing, only to turn up days later without any explanation.  It wasn’t this incident was captured on video, that she now believes her store maybe haunted.

5.
Another case of a haunted playground.  As we have seen many times before. Ghosts love to get their workout in at playgrounds.  The video shows the equipment moving energetically on its own.  Seeing these types of videos never get old and from the commentary and amusement in the voices of the onlookers, they seem to also agree.

4.
With the title of “Most Authentic ghost footage of all time” this video is regarded by many to be the most definitive proof of the existence of the paranormal.  The video claims to show the ghost of what many believe to be one of the unfortunate souls from the Battle of Gettysburg.  Both believers and skeptics regard Gettysburg to be a true nexus point for paranormal activity.  The video captured what appears to be, the ghostly figure of a man dressed in uniform walking as he slowly de-materializes.

3.
Many cite this video and others like it as proof of the existence of the Reptilian overlords.  This video has been a highly debated on all sides by some saying it is only digital artifact and others claiming it to be glitches in their shape shifting tech that were aren’t meant to see but were accidentally caught on video. What do you think of reptilian theory? Are you a believe or you think it is all non-sense? I am genuinely interested in hearing all your thoughts on this.

2.
This young girl was just having fun with the camera.  We can all remember being young and just messing around on camera for fun. In this case however, she managed to catch something that isn’t normal.  If you look at the background to her left, you can see at many times some kind of strange dark creature runs from one end to the other.  The quality of the video is not the greatest, combined with the extremely poor lighting makes it hard to say what exactly is is for sure, but it is undoubtedly creepy.

1.
In our last clip we have a haunted doll.  We know for many of you, haunted dolls are a personal nightmare.  In recent times, dolls have taken to spotlight for being creepy and deceivingly menacing.  We have seen many videos of people capturing actual footage of dolls animating on their own and moving by what seems to be free will, but this video is just plain unsettling.  The two women discuss the doll and the weird things that it does.  At first, as if it knows its being recorded, the dolls does nothing.  Unfortunately things don’t stay that way very long and this happens. Let’s take a look.

The True Story of the Real Life 'Corpse Bride'

You have probably heard the story of the woman in the window down in Mexico.  Nothing is scarier than the thought of something that is on public display, maybe hiding a dark secret below the surface.  This story will both intrigue and creep you out. This is true story of the real life Corpse bride called “La Pascualita”.

Today in Chihuahua Mexico stands a wedding boutique unlike any other.  This boutique is the home to a macabre display.  A mannequin that is allegedly the embalmed corpse of the original owners daughter.

The story goes, that back in the 1930s the daughter of the shop owner, according to the legend, was bitten by a venomous creature on the day before her wedding.  Sadly, the bite was destined to prove fatal, as she inevitably passed away.  Her mother, named “Pascualita”, overcome with loss and bereavement, couldn’t fathom the loss of her daughter. Laying her to rest was not an option, as this would be an acceptance of a reality that she wasn’t prepared to accept.  Using all of her resources, she sought out the best funerary services money could buy and had her daughter embalmed, dressed in the wedding gown, and later displayed the corpse, passing it off as a mannequin.

With the passage of time, the mother Pascualita passed away herself but the store remained open, changing hands a few times but the mannequin of Pascualita’s daughter remained unmoved from the storefront.  The mannequin later becoming called La Pascualita, which it’s known as to this day.  According to many witnesses, who have see the maneguuin of La Pascualita, they claim it moves, blinks and sometimes walks on its own.

The legend has persisted over the decades even into present day, with a few variations on the original story.  Some versions claim her fiancé  was the one that had her embalmed. It is more usual for late night taxi drivers to notice the mannequin take life as the bride's intended was said to be a taxi driver himself. In 2017, the mannequin was taken out of the wedding boutique for the first time and displayed in Mexico City.

Wheater or not you choose to believe it for yourself, this is the story of the legend of living Corpse bride “La Pascualita”.

The Story of Alex Aiono Time Traveler Incident

On February 19, 2018 - a video was posted to the official facebook page of universal music New Zealand called Umusic NZ.  The page is for the New Zealand subsidiary of the Universal Music Group (UMG), one of the largest music companies in the world.  The post, was of a video recording of singer/producer Alex Aiono’s welcome celebrations, at his arrival in the country.  The video itself shows nothing out of the ordinary at first glance.  We see Alex exiting the terminal where his is greeted by a group performing the traditional ‘haka’ dance in his honor.  Eagle eyed net users, where quick to notice something out of the ordinary however.  They pointed out, the moment when one person in the background suddenly vanishes.  Who was this person and how did she manage to completely disappear whilst being directly recorded on camera?
Martin Alexander Aiono, better known as Alex Aiono is an American singer, producer and Youtuber who began his rise to fame in the mid-2010s.  He is the son of a European American mother and a Somoan father.  Currently signed with Interscope Records, a division of Universal Music Group – Aiono was on a visit to New Zealand in 2018, as part of his tour.  When during his arrival at the Auckland airport, the strange event were captured.

Since its posting online, the video has been analyzed by many trying to solve the mystery.  The fact that the video was captured and uploaded Umusic NZ themselves, somewhat adds to confirming the authenticity of the footage.  If we look closely at the video, we see from the very start, the girl in the black hoodie in the background.  She goes unnoticed by the other people around her as she blends in with the people on the sidelines, at times even recording footage of her own.   At one point, she is even seen joining in, doing the dance moves and chants.   The moment of interest happens when camera zooms into Alex as he starts embracing with the people coming up the greet him.  We see her in the background, just to the left of Alex, as she moves to the opposite end.   For couple seconds she is obscured from view as she passes behind Alex and the man.   We expect to see her emerge out the other side, but she never does.  Other people could be seen, moving from one end to the other but the girl never re-appears.  Either to the way she came from, or to the opposite side where she was headed.  It’s as if she simply no longer is present there at that instant. Keep in mind that this footage is all one continuous shot.  It has not been cut or edited in anyway.
At first, it could be thought that maybe she was standing in such a way that she was being obscured or blocked from view somehow behind Alex and the person he is hugging.  But, when they separate we clearly see that wasn’t the case at all.  We’ve replayed this video, analyzed it frame by frame and theorized on all possible explanations and scenarios for what might have happened here.  Many have claimed that they believe she is a time traveler that came back to our time to see her idol, before jumping back to her own timeline.  It just so happened that it was caught on camera.  Others say that it might be a ‘glitch in the matrix’ type situation; where she is an after image or a person that slipped in from another dimension parallel to our own.  What do you think? In this case, we genuinely can’t explain this one… but we want to hear your thoughts on this one.

Mysterious empty graves in Thailand - Is It Real? (Debunked)

Mysterious empty graves in Thailand. Did the dead rise up and start walking among us?  A video was recently posted online and has started to garner attention in the paranormal community, claiming to show a strange occurrence but It is real?

So recently, this video was posted online claiming that early morning visitors to a graveyard in Thailand noticed that all the graves had been broken open and the contents were missing. The entire episode apparently happened over night.  The entire scene is a highly distressing and eerie to behold.  Many net users were quick to react claiming that the zombie apocalypse was here and we all need to start running for our lives. Some others claimed that we had unfortunately missed the rapture, as well as a variety of similar comments regarding the entire situation followed.

The uploader claimed that “so far no one can explain what happened and it remains a mystery.”.  By now you have probably formulated in your head, your own theories about what really happened with this entire situation.  As per usual with these headline grabbing stories and overhyped, over exaggerated viral narratives, the reality is often ordinary easy to explain and in this case - that is also true.

Let’s start by debunking the most glaring inaccuracy of the whole story. If you listen to the spoken language of the people in the video, you will quickly realize that they are not speaking Thai.  That is be biggest redflag that this did not happen in Thailand.  To further backup this as fact, if you look at the tombstone, when the camera pans over, the letters and writing is not in Thai.  Also, the clothes worn by the people in the video are Islamic wear, particularly as would be seen in countries like Indonesia.

What actually happened is quite simple.  In cases of mass flooding, the soil composition results in the trapped air and gases causing the coffins below the ground rise and float. When this happens it not uncommon for them to breach the surface and be swept away with the flood currents.  All of which can happen on a large scale and in a very short amount of time.  Which would present a very unsettling sight to persons visiting the cemetery the next morning. That is most likey what happened here and not the starting chapter of The Walking Dead. But, let me know your thoughts.  Do you agree - be sure to comment below and I’ll see you next time.

Police arrest 'Werewolf' who was scaring villagers

In early June of 2019, residents of a city in Brazil were terrorized by an unknown creature stalking their community.  Many people witnessed the wolfman and some even captured video of the creature, and posted it social media. With titles such as "werewolf wandering through the woods and backyards, haunting adults and children.” and “wolfman on the hunt”.

A man dressed as a werewolf, who was frightening residents of the city of Serra de São Bento.  Several videos circulating on social networks show the "werewolf" wandering through the woods and backyards, haunting adults and children.  Now he should watch the full moon in a small square of the cell. Folklore was frustrated.

Brazilian Werewolf (Man in costume arrested)

Like most unbelievable stories, the truth is often disappointing and ordinary. In this case, after the police got involved and did some werewolf hunting, the creature was captured.  The wolfman turned out to be just an ordinary man dressed in costume to scare the residents.

Virtual, Virtual Reality (PSVR) Review

From the start you’ll realize that the game is very polished and highly detailed.  The vivid colours and smooth graphics is indeed a treat to the eyes.  The environment is very large scale and most of the set pieces are large scale rooms that do an amazing job of making you feel the sense of scale.  You do feel like you actually in the game world.

The premise of the game is that in the near future, most jobs have become automated and thus humans have lost all purpose for their existence.  In this time of need, a savior arises in the form of a company called Activitude.  Activitude is a Virtual Labor System that matches humans with A.I. clients.  These clients however, have needs that only humans can fulfill.

Virtual Virtual Reality can be described as taking the best parts of games like Job Simulator and Accounting+ and combining them into something that just works.  The gameplay comprises the completion of a sequence of tasks for each of the A.I. clients, who would then score your performance.  When each task is completed you are taken back to a hub world where your guide Chaz (that’s the robot with the single eye) would comment on your performance before setting up for the next task.  Not wanting to spoil a minute of anything it has to offer, I intentionally did not include the any surprises, specific jokes or plot twists in this review.

Nothing is taken seriously, each comment from Chaz is double meaning.  The A.I. clients take every opportunity to belittle you if you don’t follow exact instructions. And the entire thing is a hodgepodge of comically weird situations, overarching conspiracies and self-doubting moments – And I have to say, I loved every moment of it.  These types of games can be a hit or a miss with audiences as they are catering for a niche of persons that would be interested in the premise they have make to offer.  Virtual Virtual Reality wins on all fronts.  The game is filled with dialog choices that all correspond to your actions.  You really do find yourself questioning your actions and thinking of what is the best action to take before you do it.

You can play with 2 PS move controllers, which is recommended for the most immersive experience.  Or you can play with the dual shock 4 controller which is not as immersive but offers slightly more exact controls.  My biggest and only problem is with navigation.  There is no turning option mechanic to speak of, you physically turn your body to reach the periphery areas or you can tap the move button three time to do a complete reversal to face the opposite direction.  It’s not ideal and the difficulty with navigation was a bit of hindrance at times.

Whilst playing you do feel a sense of freedom and the ability to do anything you want to do within the environment.  Most objects are intractable, and the voice acting along with the over the top dialog is perfect.  Virtual Virtual Reality is definitely a must buy.  It deserves to join the ranks of the must have games released on the PSVR platform thus far.  Anyone looking for a light hearted, pickup and enjoy experience will enjoy Virtual Virtual Reality.

10 Happenings We Are Still Trying To Explain

Number 10 :
In this video We see the girl from the Ring turned Grandma hunched back and pointing outside, then looks directly to the camera like she knew it was there, then turns around and points at something else, takes a knee and then what ever is that, nothing in the video makes sense and it leaves you with so many unanswered questions, the video seems to be from a house camera and I for one would not only move out of the house but from the whole city if I saw that in my security camera

Number 9 :
If you didn’t think elevators were creepy enough  well check this out , a women  fixing herself up before reaching the floor, her dress, her hair just ready to Slam Dunk the party or whatever she’s attending, turns out she’s the one that got slammed , because right after she appears to be pushed back by something invisible thrown from side to side and  hit repeatedly, fortunately the elevator opened up  and she got out.

Number 8 :
The video appears to be from China and it’s really spooky, maybe it’s a ghost of a cat the way it’s knocking stuff down, right to left, maybe if there was a cup next to the chair it would have been knocked down too.

Number 7 :
Number seven starts with my guy here trying to be discreet and going up the attic looking for whatever creature is there, he films for a while but can’t find it, but as he goes down, that ugly thing shows up like it’s been called for dinner.

Number 6
The dude seems to be having a delightful phone call and in the back something weird is happening, what is that thing ? at first it looks something with a a huge face then it kinda looks like a monkey puppet, maybe it’s just a crazy Ex eavesdropping on that phone call, he went to check it out, hope he’s okay.

Number 5
This one starts creepy but it’s actually pretty funny, what you are seeing isn’t a ghost, it’s a burglar wrapped in Curtains he stole from the building to hide his face from the cameras , unfortunately for our failing ghost here, he showed his face to the camera by mistake which lead to his arrest, the best part is when we was arrested the officers said he didn’t manage to steal a single item.

Number 4 :
A lovey couple practicing Golf indoors, already a bad idea but hey! Whatever gets us some paranormal activity on tape is justified as far as I’m concerned, the door gets wide open by itself and as they wonder about what happened to the door the chair starts moving by itself, whatever it was at least it got in from the front door like a gentleman.

Number 3
Vicars Hill Armagh  in the UK , The shadowy figure seems dressed like the Soldiers from  18th century , he’s hat is very telling, he walks right into the wall like an Xmen, maybe he’s a ghost of past Captain or solider who still stuck there for some reason

Number 2 :
Alright with number too we have a footage that seems to be from store , the guy walks by the box and then box moves and drops on the floor, I know what you’re thinking, Another Cat ghost but that can’t be right because if it was a cat the box would have stayed still because they like to get inside boxes for some reason, the footage continues to show that the paranormal activity at this place doesn’t just concern boxes, whatever is causing this seems to be determined  to move stuff in this store, maybe it’s the spirit of someone who works there or just a ghost looking for a job and he’s showing initiative, what do you think ? tell us in the comments down below.

Number 1 :
What is the first thing you’d think when you see a girl in a school uniform ? it could be something normal or knowing some of you it could be something Creepy but whatever it might be it’s not ‘’ oh I bet she can’t lift a car ‘’ , well you should start saying that because this girl here dropped that white thing she had under the car and that happened, couldn’t reach it from the front ? guess I’ll move the car entirely from it’s first parking space, you know, as one does.
Alright guys that was it for us, I hope you liked the video, if you did be sure to like the video and subscribe or else I’ll punch you grandma,  thank you so much for watching, don’t forget to let us what do you think in the comments down below and we’ll see you next time.

5 Most Famous Poltergeist Events Ever Recorded!

In German, the word poltergeist means “noisy ghost or spirit”. The word is usually used to describe entities that cause audible disturbances or physical destruction.  There’ve been many cases of poltergeist activity documented over the years, but these are 5 of the weirdest and still unexplained cases of poltergeist activity ever recorded.

5. The Stockwell Ghost
In the village of Stockwell, on the 6th of January 1772, the house of Mrs Golding became the site of a famous case of paranormal activity.   Various cups, saucers and stone plates were reported to have fallen from a shelf to the ground, as well as items of food were thrown across the room.  Violent noises were also heard around the house.  In fear, Mrs. Golding decided to take refuge with her neighbor as the disturbances continued. It was noted that the disturbances only took place when her servant Anne Robinson was present. She was eventually dismissed and suddenly the disturbances ended.  The case was considered for many years by the public to be the result of poltergeist activity or even witchcraft.

4. The Drummer of Tedworth
In 1661 a local landowner named John Mompesson, owner of a house in the town of Tedworth brought a lawsuit against an unlicensed vagrant drummer named William Drury, whom he accused of collecting money by false pretenses.  After he had won judgment against the drummer, the drum was turned over to Mompesson by the local bailiff. Mompesson then found his house plagued by nocturnal drumming noises. It was alleged that the drummer had brought these plagues of noise upon Mompesson's head by witchcraft.  For years after, anyone who had come to live in the house would report strange noises and unearthly sounds coming from various parts of the house.

3.  The Bell Witch of Tennessee
The Bell Witch or Bell Witch Haunting is a legend from Southern American folklore, centered on the 19th-century Bell family of Tennessee.  According to legend, family and the local area came under attack by a mostly invisible entity that was able to speak, affect the physical environment, and shapeshift. The haunting began sometime in 1817 when John Bell witnessed the apparition of a strange creature having the body of a dog and the head of a rabbit.  Despite extensive hunting expeditions, they never caught the animal. As time went on, the family was plagued by loud pounding on the outside of their cabin, and some family members were attacked in their sleep. Sometimes waking up with mysterious bruises and welts all over their bodies.

2.  Gef the Talking Mongoose or the Dalby Spook
In September 1931, the Irving family, consisting of James, Margaret and a 13-year-old daughter named Voirrey, claimed they heard persistent scratching, rustling, and vocal noises behind their farmhouse's wooden wall panels.  The noises resembled that of a ferret, a dog or a baby.  According to the Irvings, a creature named Gef introduced itself and told them it was a mongoose born in New Delhi, India, in 1852.  The Irvings made many claims about Gef, they said told them that he was "an extra clever mongoose", an "Earthbound spirit" and "a ghost in the form of a mongoose".  He was the size of a small rat with yellowish fur and a large bushy tail.  He supposedly guarded their house and informed them of the approach of guests and also attended to various household duties.  To this day, the truth is still unknown as the family maintained that ‘Gef was real’ even to their graves.

1. Enfield Poltergeist
The Enfield Poltergeist was the name given for a series of strange and supernatural activity at 284 Green Street, in Enfield, England.  In August 1977, Peggy Hodgson called police to her home claiming she had witnessed furniture moving on its own, as well as two of her four children had said knocking sounds were heard on walls.  A police constable who visited the premises said that she saw a chair "wobble and slide".  Later claims included disembodied voices, loud noises, thrown and toys, overturned chairs, and children levitating.  Over a period of 18 months, more than 30 people, including neighbours, psychic researchers and journalists, said they variously saw heavy furniture moving of its own accord, objects being thrown across a room and the daughters seeming to levitate several feet off the ground. Many also heard and recorded knocking noises and a gruff voice.  The activity in the house attracted considerable media attention and the story was covered in British newspapers until the reports came to an end in 1979.

A Plague Tale: Innocence REVIEW

Focus Home Interactive in collaboration with Asobo Studio crafted a story of struggle and suffering in its latest game A Plague Tale: Innocence.  In it, you follow the journey of the two main protagonists Amicia and her little brother Hugo, both orphans on the run from the terrifying Inquisition.  The game is set in medieval times and drops the player in a world of danger and rampant disease, as a plague slowly decimates all life across cities and the countryside.
The swarms of supernatural rats are a constant and every present threat that the player hopes to avoid.  In this case, the rats represent the physical manifestation of the plague itself.  The terror they create is tense and makes for intense situations where you need to use planning and strategy to avoid coming into contact with them.

Amicia is a 15 year old, forced to mature quickly due to the circumstances of her life.  Her character strengths shine through in the mastery of her stealth and hunting skills.  This is in stark contrast to her brother Hugo, who is frail and is suffering from an unknown illness.  The game is set in a fictionalized version of sometime in 14th century France, during the heights of the Inquisition.  The main focus in gameplay is not head to head combat, as the siblings are obviously outmatched and outnumbered by the enemies in the game.  Instead, the game focuses on more subtle tactics to progression.  Amicia is armed with a slingshot that she uses for distracting enemies, allowing her to escape.  The player must often use strategy in order to avoid falling into the line of sight of various enemies.  As failing to do so results in enemies being alerted to your presence and frantic chase sequences where the player has a limited chance to escape.

Strategy is also key in puzzle solving in the game. There are a few puzzles that offer some challenge that you must complete so that you can get past certain obstacles.  For the most part, the puzzles are not too difficult but offer just enough complexity to make you really think about it, in order to solve them.

The graphics are impressive.  From the early preview footage and trailers, the level of graphical detail looked incredible.  Character models were highly detailed, with impressive lighting and shaders and ambient effects.  In the final release, there is a slight difference in the visual aesthetic but the overall muted tones and feelings of being in a world of dread and despair is fully realized.  It manages to achieve, pulling off a compelling story with moments of emotional heights and heartbreaking lows.  The sound design is equally as good and helps complete the overall package.  Dramatic musical scores suddenly resonate at the right moments, adding tension and urgency – whilst the slower paced orchestral pieces offer a subdue ambiance to the more intimate moments.

A Plague Tale is a game that tells story with all the glory of a true cinematic experience.  The grim tale, takes players on a memorable and emotionally engaging adventure.  The graphics are stunningly beautiful and detailed despite of the bleak and dismal environment the events of the game take place in.  The entire experience is one that is very rewarding to play though.

10 Paranormal Videos That Still Baffle Experts (VIDEO)

Scientists and paranormal experts can almost never agree. The laws of science require observable evidence and testable theories that directly contradict the often immeasurable conclusions that paranormal believers rely on as proof of its existence.  In this video, we are going to look at 10 Paranormal Videos That Still Baffle Experts.

Who is Carmen Winstead? - "They Pushed Her"

Is this a recent sighting of Carmen Winstead?

Recently, an urban legend from 2006 is starting to appear online again.  A video popped up, showing an encounter with a strange creature-human.  Many are saying it’s a sighting of Carmen Winstead in 2019. Let’s investigate.

10 Anomalous Events Caught on Video (VIDEO)

We live in a world where strange and abnormal events often go unnoticed. The ten (10) instances we showcase, weren't the case at all.  From a hitchhiker straight out of your worst nightmare, to hauntingly disturbing images captured in woods.

These are 10 strange and anomalous events that were caught on video:

10.
Some ancient cultures believed that mirrors were windows to another world.  Many believe that they reflect back at us, not an image of ourselves, but a reality of ourselves that exist in another dimension other than our own.  In the video, we see a child innocently amused by his reflection in the mirror, as his parent captures the moment on video.  Things suddenly become strange, when the reflection no longer matches up and reflection begins to contort its head unsettlingly.

9.
There are many hitchhiking horror stories out there, from both ends of the encounters.  However, the act of hitching a ride, is a risk that many are forced to take.  In the video you are about to see, a driver is travelling along a back road, late at night during a downpour, when the worst happens.  A strange humanoid figure comes into view, only illuminated by the car’s headlights.  From what we can estimate, the figure seems taller than the average human and is covered seemingly think reddish-brown animal fur.  Almost comparable to a Neanderthal or even a Bigfoot.  Would you have stopped and offered ‘him’ a ride?

Fish with Human-Face Caught in China - Is It Real? (VIDEO)

A video has gone viral on social media in China.  The video appears to show a fish with a human face that was caught at a lake by a fisherman somewhere in an unknown part of  China.

The video is lacking in detail so it is hard to distinguish if there was tampering done to alter it but from what we can see the face looks very plastic and almost comical.  Many netizens have already come to the conclusion that the video is fake and a bad one at that.  Most likely a CGI imposed face on a fish.

What do you think? Is this a fish with a real human face that was caught on camera or is this another CGI fake.  We highly believe that latter to be true.

A Fisherman's Tale (PSVR) Review

A Fisherman's Tale is a unique take on the VR puzzle adventure formula.  In the game, you inhabit the body of a living puppet – as you experience key moments of the fisherman’s life, through the eyes of the pupper inside of a model lighthouse.  From seeing the initial trailers, you would be intrigued to find out more about story of this title, as not much actual gameplay was shown prior to release.  And being honest, this would cause many to not have high expectations for this game or even dismiss it altogether – but that is where A Fisherman's Tale would be able to shine and be an unexpected surprise once you dive below the surface.

The story’s premise is simple, a Fisherman stranded by a storm in a lighthouse, when he has a twist of reality experience with a tiny puppet.   In the lighthouse, you experience an inception level event that only could brought to life using the power of VR.  As you look up you see multiple levels of reality, putting the sense of scale into perspective.

Interaction is achieved through the use of 2 PS move controllers which represent the players left and right hands respectively.  In true VR fashion, you have a pair of disembodied floating gloved hands to complete the experience.  There is no full locomotion here, as all movements are done through teleportation by using the move button and selecting the desired warp location.  There is 45 degree snapped turning mapped to the X and O buttons and the triggers are used for picking up objects and clenching fists and option selection.  There is no Dual Shock 4 support at all.

Now that the controls have been covered, let’s move on the graphics.   The graphics are crisp and clear for the most part with objects having high resolution textures and sharp edges.  Unfortunately, there are some times when anti-aliasing is noticeable.  The world is vibrant and colorful in some places and dark and dreary in others, with each level feeling unique and distinct to each other.
Being a puzzle adventure game, there are a variety of puzzles that must complete in order to progress the story.  The puzzle here are actually well thought out and fun to complete. They make full use of VR medium, sometimes in very interesting ways – interweaving in the overall narrative.  However, don’t expect too much of a challenge, as they are simple to solve and hints can be enabled for additional help if needed.  In most cases, you can see the solution steps ahead of time, and simple trial and error can be enough to figure things out.

Voice acting and sound design is nicely done.  With the both English and French voice dub being done by the same actor.  The overall mode and tone portrayed by the narration helped sell the overall experience and having voice acting that is actually good, which is a rare find VR games, is a nice addition indeed.

Despite of all its positives however, the one disappointment with A Fisherman's Tale is that it wasn’t longer.  The entire game can be completed in under 2 hours.  Maybe 3 or more for achievement hunters seeking to get all trophies and the platinum.  Whilst the story is self-contained and reaches a satisfying conclusion, at the end you do feel yourself wanting more time in this world and stories that could be told.

A Fisherman's Tale (Lighthouse Entrance)

All in all, A Fisherman's Tale is an exceptional experience that can only be fully appreciated in VR.  It’s a definite much play for fans of point and click style puzzle games and alternative method story telling experiences.

Guns'n'Stories Bulletproof VR (PSVR) Review

Guns’n’Stories Bulletproof is a dynamic shooter and the latest game released by game developers MIROWIN for PSVR. Is it any good? Let’s begin our review.

Guns’n’Stories Bulletproof is western themed VR shooter set in alternate realistic take on the Wild West.  The story is told from the perspective of a grandfather, recounting his pseudo realistic memories of adventures from this past days.  The central plot is spread out across 3 acts, each with 3 sub-chapters and a final boss to defeat at the end.  The story is a high point of the game, as it doesn’t take itself seriously and weaves a tangled narrative of funny scenarios along the way.  Cutscenes are presented in the cinematic perspective with the player in first person view, seated in a theater, watching the video on a hovering movie screen in front of them.

The voices of both the grandfather and grandson are heard during gameplay, giving more context of the events of story.  Often in comical ways, as you progress along the main campaign.

The game is played using 2 PS Move controllers in each hand simulating the use of dual firearms.  For the most part each level begins with you taking on wave after wave of enemies using revolvers in each hand, only be given a much more powerful gun near the middle of chapter completion.  The enhanced weapons are extremely fun to use as they range from enjoyable overpowered to comically ridiculous – but in a way.  The game can be played in a standing position or a sitting position.  There is no movement at all, as the player remains in a stationary position, with enemies approaching either from the right, left or center from entry points built into each set piece.

Guns’n’Stories features a wide range of enemies from the standard mindless disposable minions, to the semi-bullet spongy heavy grunts, some “Mexicans” as pointed out in game and even flying drones.  Some enemies are easier than others to dispatch, with head-shots as expected being incentives.

The graphics are sharp and with detailed textures, everything is well defined and whilst having a bit of a cartoon-ish aesthetic – the world also has a somewhat realistic feel to it as well.  There are various levels of difficulty which dramatically ramp up the intensity and challenge.  The entire game story line can be completed within 2 hours, but there is replay value for persons looking trophy hunt or attempt the bonus objectives.

In conclusion Guns’n’Stories Bulletproof is an enjoyable western style shooter – with an interesting narrative, scaleable difficulty and intrinsic replay value.  The game is currently available on the PlayStation Store for $19.99 and at that price you more than get what you pay for.  It’s definite pickup for persons who are into VR shooters.

RUSH VR (PSVR) Review

Rush VR is a game that takes on wingsuit racing in virtual reality.  The premise is simple, jump from the top and speed your way to the bottom.  The game was developed by The Binary Mill, who also released versions for Steam and Oculus devices.  From the moment you put the VR headset, you get an outline view from the perspective of if you were actually wearing a helmet.  This touch greatly adds to the immersion and pumps you up for what is to come.  In Rush VR, you race at high speeds down the sides of various locations, at different times of day and weather conditions.  You are encouraged to push yourself to the limit to increase your boost meter.  Your boost meter is a quick speed kick that can be activated when needed.

Controlling RUSH VR (PSVR) Using PS Move Controllers

The game features 80 tracks, spread across 4 environments, and dozens of wingsuits to unlock.  As well as game modes including Race to the finish, Time Attack, and Score Challenge. There is a single player campaign and online multiplayer which allows for up to seven players to take part at a time, in a race.

Rush VR excels when it comes to giving you methods of control.  You can play with a DualShock 4, one or two PS Moves controllers, and multiple other combinations of these.  You can also control using head movements for steering, or by pointing to locations.  The most fun to be had, is obviously pretending to be Superman – with Move controllers each in hand and experiencing the feeling of speeding through the air at high speed.

Rush VR is currently available on NA PSN for $24.99, with a limited time discount of 20% off for PS Plus members – bringing the price down to $19.99.   Rush VR is an enjoyable, and highly addicting title that is worth your time and is highly recommended that you pick this one up and try it for yourself.
