Recently a video surfaced online of a girl from Honduras
claiming to be possessed by what she calls a demon in the popular mobile battle
royale game called Free Fire.
This event happened in Honduras, where a family recorded video
of the young girl apparently possessed by "devils that inhabit the
game". In the video we can see the
girl holding onto her mother or a relative of hers, as she warns of evil
entities that are present in the battle royale game. She can be heard warning people not to play
Free Fire. The Free Fire is a very
popular game, especially in developing countries like in South and Central
America. As with any successful situation, some people
appear to be always wanting to blame it for being the root of all evils in
society.
The video was originally uploaded to the Facebook account of
the girl. In the description of the
video, she writes that her life and the lives of her family are in danger
because of Free Fire and that one of her cousins was to the point of death
because of the game. Comments to her
post were divided as some mocked her claims calling the whole thing fake,
whilst others took the warning seriously.
